Le Sauvage is one hour by boat from the main resort on Avatoru Island. It's a private island; a 15-minute walk will take you around the entire island. Two members of the staff will be on site at all times, taking care of dining, activities and other guest needs. Enjoy a simple but comfortable stay with Polynesian style warm hospitality and service.
The guest bungalows at Le Sauvage are built in traditional Polynesian style using bamboo and natural material such as pandanus, a tropical tree. The bungalows come with a double bed, hot shower and bathroom. There is no electricity on the island; nights turn into a special time with the simple light of the lantern and moonlight. The breathtaking view of the starlit sky is a spectacle in itself.
Running water is readily available to use in the shower, toilet and vanity area. Amenities are eco-friendly; shampoo, conditioner, body lotion and soap are available in all bungalows.
When dining, guests from all bungalows gather at a large table in the dining area. French-based Polynesian cuisine is prepared by Michelle, the island host, using fresh seafood caught during the day and selected local produce.Savor authentic homemade Polynesian food under the soft light of the lanterns.

Le Sauvage is an island resort limited to up to 10 guests, 5 groups on any given day. Reservations require a stay of minimum two nights. The capacity of each guest bungalow is two guests. Children 7 years and younger are not accepted.
