Stay at Le Sauvage:
Tune your senses in the nature of the South Pacific

day01 Arrive at Rangiora

From the airplane, you will see the blue ocean as far as you can see as you arrive at Rangiroa Airport. As you come off the plane, the bright sun and the gentle tropical breeze will greet you. Walk through the palm trees to the hotel entrance. Our staff will be there to welcome you with the warmest of smiles to soothe you after a long trip.
Head straight to the deep blue lagoon in front of the hotel. Its bright color may first not seem like the ocean you know. There are many spots on the resort to relax by the lagoon - just let go and spend a calm afternoon. After the sun starts to set, a 10-minute walk will take you to Tipta Path, famous for wild dolphins doing amazing jumps right before your eyes. This spot is loved by both tourists and island residents alike, soothing those who visit.

day02 Paleo & Black Tahitian Pearl - Choose your color

Wake up to the refreshing morning air of Rangiroa as the sun rises from the outer ocean. The lagoon and the outer ocean is only a few hundred meters apart, but the water surface is quite different. See and feel the difference first hand - gentle waves in the outer ocean, and calm waters inside the lagoon. After a relaxing morning, go visit the center of Apator Village, where the hotel is located. On the way to the center of the Apator, find stores with Paleo, Tahitian traditional costume, and jewelry stores with Tahitian Black Pearls. Find a piece of Tahiti to take home, something that is just right for you.

day03 The Grand Ocean - Stay at Le Sauvage

Your stay at Le Sauvage, situated on the southern tip on the Rangiroa coral atoll starts today. After breakfast at 9am, a boat will depart from the hotel dock. A one-hour boat ride will take you to 'Le Sauvage'. The resort host, Michelle, will be there to greet you. As you get off the boat, you will feel the power of nature and time away from everyday life (Sauvage means 'wild' in French). Days without electricity, cell phones and internet may seem inconvenient at first, but you are to feel a sense of release as time passes on the island.

day04 Days and Nights spent with the cycle of nature

When was the last time you woke to the rising sun? Here on the island, your instincts come alive, starting and ending your days with the sun's cycle. As the eastern sky start to turn red, the sky brightens, marking the beginning of the day at Sauvage. Before breakfast, go on a walk along the beach and take in the power of the morning sun. A day full of activities will go by like a flash; as the sun goes down beyond the horizon, the lanterns start to glow on the island. Nights with only a low amount of light are mesmerizing, bringing out the beauty of the starlit sky - you will be taken aback by twinkling of the stars.
